Aspen, a 20-year-old living at TGTHR, has always wanted to go to college. But they were born with several medical issues, and like many other young adults, have struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. Of the money they do have, they use it to pay their medical fees and rent in Boulder.

Johnathan came to The Source Drop-in Center in 2018 and again in 2019 after experiencing some legal issues that left him unemployed and homeless. He was at risk to go to prison for up to 5-years and needed a place to stay and find healing from the traumas he experienced in his life. Johnathan engaged with our support staff from the start. He has always been eager to find ways to better his situation and secure a successful future.

Viktor (he/him/his) came to The Source in a difficult time in his life. He was driven from the beginning to achieve reliable housing and stable finances. Viktor was able to secure employment within two weeks of being at The Source and has since been approved for a Family Unification Program Housing Voucher. He is actively looking to find a place of his own with the help of our Program Case Manager. He is incredibly determined to reach financial stability by rebuilding his credit and developing a savings account. He is currently seeking educational opportunities at local trade schools to continue his incredible progress.

Ilya (they/them/theirs) first came to The Source in 2019 after leaving a motel in Denver where they were living with their family. Ilya said they came to The Source because they wanted to find a stable place to live and needed a little bit of help. When they first got to The Source Ilya instantly started working toward the goals of employment, education, and housing.
