Giles Talley mostly grew up in Longmont, CO, but considers his roots from Florida and Georgia. After attending the University of Colorado Boulder, Giles graduated in 2015 with a degree in Psychology and began working with youth almost immediately. First as a camp counselor, and then at TGTHR as a Direct Care staff. In 2017, Giles decided to mix things up, while continuing to work with young adults as a substitute teacher, behavior coach, behavior technician, and a skateboarding camp director. (He still does some work with his skateboarding program today). In 2021 Giles achieved his Master’s degree in Applied Sport Psychology at Adams State. Around the same time he found himself back with TGTHR, taking on this position as Drop-In Coordinator. Giles enjoys meeting all the unique individuals and watching the bond between youth and the organization develop. Outside of work, Giles loves doing most anything outdoors, skateboarding, and his and his girlfriend’s “obnoxious” doggos.
