Rita Dennhardt, she/her
Transitional Living Program Case Manager

Rita Dennhardt joined the TGTHR team in 2019 after completing her Master’s Degree in Extension Education at Colorado State University. Rita began her career in the nonprofit industry by assisting in TGTHR’s launch of 1440 Pine, the first permanent supportive housing project for youth (ages 18-24) in Colorado. Being an outgoing and open-minded individual, Rita has enjoyed getting to know the youth in the community and providing them a safe place to call home. In 2021 Rita accepted the position of Transitional Living Program Case Manager with TGTHR and is excited to have the opportunity to foster a positive and welcoming environment where program participants will feel empowered to develop their skills, share their talents and pursue their dreams. One of her favorite quotes to live by is, “Helping a person will not necessarily change the world, but it will change the world for that person.”-Anonymous. In her free time, Rita enjoys many outdoor adventures including SUPing with her dog (Chase), hiking, and camping all across the beautiful mountainous terrain of Colorado. She also has a wandering spirit and enjoys travelling with her husband, so far she has visited a total of 13 different countries across the globe.
