Josh Geppelt has spent the last 18 years with Denver Rescue Mission, a 131-year-old social services agency serving the Colorado Front Range. Most recently Josh served as Chief Strategy Officer, a role through which Josh ensured alignment between community needs and the organization’s efforts, as well as government relations, system collaboration, and growth strategies. Prior, Josh rose through the program ranks at the mission, starting at a coordinator-level role and finishing up as Vice president of Programs, overseeing the mission’s program offerings in both Denver and Northern Colorado. In addition, Josh currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for Denver’s Department of Housing Stability, on Denver Mayor Johnston’s Homelessness Transition Committee, and as a founding member of the Homelessness Leadership Council. Josh has advised on systems-level work along the Front Range, most recently within Fort Collins, Larimer County, Adams County, and the city of Northglenn. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Cedarville University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Sociology from Regis University, with an emphasis in Restorative Leadership. Josh lives in Northglenn with his wife Claire, two sons Gibson and Lincoln, and daughter Arden.
