OUR PROGRAMS

TO END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS

Homelessness is not just a lack of shelter. It’s the absence of a home — a place where somebody feels safe, comfortable, secure, and valued. Ending youth homelessness requires all young people to have a place to live, employment, access to education, wellness, and a supportive community. That’s what TGTHR has been delivering for 55 years.

PROGRAMS

Our team

As a team, we are committed to ensuring every young person can lead a fulfilling life. Meet the dedicated staff and Board of Directors who wake up every day with the drive to end youth homelessness and create the circumstances that allow young people to thrive.

LEARN

get educated

The movement to end youth homelessness begins with understanding its causes. A lot of people think they know them: things like mental health issues, substance use, and poor life choices. In fact, they’re often symptoms, caused by economic instability or abuse at home. Imagine having to handle day-to-day stresses while living outside with little or no support. Now picture yourself empowering somebody who’s experienced all that to build their path forward. Contact us to schedule a TGTHR presentation or meeting with a TGTHR staffer to learn more.

FINANCIALS

your impact

To end youth homelessness, it takes all community members coming TGTHR. We work with every type of stakeholder to break the cycle of youth homelessness.

JUSTICE, EQUITY, DIVERSITY, & INCLUSION

Our EFFORTS

TGTHR is committed to building a culture of equity, inclusivity, and non-violence for all individuals, which is why we created a J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Committee in 2021 and remain committed to ensuring our programs and community are a safe space for all individuals.

OUR STORIES

MEET GABBY

Gabby’s parents had a long history of substance use and were routinely putting Gabby and her siblings in dangerous situations. As an elementary and middle school student, Gabby managed the household and took care of her younger brothers. She was the one getting them up for school every day.
