An educator, advocate and experienced program manager who is deeply passionate about creating more just, inclusive and connected communities, Elly Johnson has dedicated her life to creating social justice, facilitating self-sufficiency and empowering everyone that she works with. With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit industry, Elly has gained a wide range of experience in program management, compassionate nonviolent communication, advocacy, volunteer recruitment and management, group facilitation, community engagement, sustainability and leadership, having spent much of her life advocating for various causes. During the course of her career, she recognized the vital role education has in creating awareness and affecting positive change, especially when it comes to valuing, engaging and supporting our youth. Leveraging her extensive experience, Elly helps the TGTHR team lead, implement and oversee impactful and life-changing programming aimed at building diverse, resilient communities for young people.
