Kara Thomas graduated from Colorado College with a bachelor of arts in sociology and a minor in environmental issues in May 2021 and immediately moved up to Boulder. Kara’s background in sociology has equipped her to apply her independent research and sociocultural perspective to her work at TGTHR, where she is most passionate about securing an equitable and diverse future for all young people. Prior to joining TGTHR, Kara worked on marketing teams at a digital marketing agency and sustainability consultancy, refining her communications skills. She enjoys copyediting, podcasting, and fundraising, and is ecstatic to join the Development Team at TGTHR. In her free time, you can find Kara riding gravel trails on her bike, cooking, practicing yoga, or in the mountains!
